Treatment

Get Some Help

MRSA is resistant to many common antibiotics. That doesn't mean there's no way to treat it. If the patient reaches a medical center and is treated by a special doctor in at least 10 days, MRSA should be able to be cured.

Treatment can include wound treatment and other soft tissue medications such as:

  • trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim)

  • clindamycin

  • minocycline

  • doxycycline
